Cultural Heritage

In the heart of the Land of Art and History between Cluny and Tournus, the Benedictine Abbey of Cluny, founded in 910, has had an exceptional influence on Europe, both political, artistic and religious. Although only part of its abbey remains, a true masterpiece of Romanesque art, the remains and monastic buildings still visible today testify to the importance of Cluny. A visit is essential and very impressive!

The augmented reality screens dotted around the abbey help visualise what has now disappeared.
